God's Salvation Plan

We all need salvation.  For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God"Romans 3:23

Only God gives Salvation. "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God" Ephesians 2:8

Only the Holy Spirit convicts and convinces us of our sin. "And when He is come(the Holy Spirit) He will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: Of sin, because they believe not on me;"John 16:8-9

If we feel no conviction of sin, it is not because we are innocent, but because the Holy Spirit is not working in our heart. Pray for God to have mercy upon us and show us our sin, and ask him to give us a godly sorrow for our sin.

I
f we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us." I John 1:8-10

All sin is against the holiness of God It's consequences are death.  For the wages of sin is death."  Romans 6:23

  Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin when it is finished, bringeth forth death."   James 1:15

God alone has the remedy for our sin. He sent His only Son to make the complete atonement for our sin. We can never make ourselves good enough to merit salvation. But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly. his faith is counted for righteousness. Romans 4:5

God takes care of our sin problem. God places our sin upon his sinless Son. Christ makes the complete payment for our sin. Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, the we being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. 1 Peter 2:24

Our sin debt was paid for with Christ's own blood.

"Forasmuch as ye know ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, . . . But with the precious blood of Christ as a lamb without blemish and without spot."   1 Peter 2:18-19

Christ had to take our punishment and die in our place,  "and without the shedding of blood is no remission."  Hebrews 9:22

He carried our sins in His own body,

"So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many;" Hebrews 9:28

Only by the word of God can we receive this faith to trust Him "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." Romans 10:17

But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Romans 10:8-9
